Pathanamthitta: The doors of the holy shrine of Sabarimala will be opened this evening for Thulamasa poojas. Chief Priest Vasudevan Namboothiri will open the hill temple’s doors to lit the lamp in the presence of Thantri Kandaru Mohanaru at 5 pm today. Devotees can make their darsan after this.
No other poojas will be performed today. Ghee anointing and padipooja will be held from tomorrow. Sabarimala temple will be closed after Thulamasa poojas and harivarasanam at 10 pm on 22 October.
