Pathanamthitta: For the Pujas and rituals of the ongoing ‘Thulam’ month, the Sabarimala temple opened its portals and witnessed a huge crowd of devotees. In the dawn itself just before the opening of the portal, people were present in and around the premises of the temple to catch a glimpse of Lord Ayyappa.
At the Sannidhanam, Laksharchana, Kalakabhishekam and more than 40 ‘Choroonu’ were held.
A K Sudheer Namboothiri and M S Parameswaran Namboothiri who is set to be appointed as Sabarimala Malikapuram Melshanti took part in the rituals performed outside temple’s holy portals. They both participated in the Pujas performed by Tanthri Kandara Mohanarar and Melshanti V N Vasudevan Namboothiri.
