Palakkad: The communist terrorist who got injured in the gun battle last day is confirmed dead. The deceased is identified as Manivasakam. He is a native of Tamil Nadu and the leader of Bhavani Dalam. His body was recovered while searching was underway.
Death of the injured is confirmed while the inquest procedures of the three terrorists who had died last day is progressing. Four communist terrorists have been killed so far in the encounter.
It is suspected that a fresh encounter is taking place in the Manjakkadu area of Palakkad around 11 am today.
All the four bodies will be sent to Thrissur Medical College for postmortem procedures.
