Trissur : Film director Ali Akbar shared his views on the Government’s recent actions. Akbar said he and his family is willing to be behind the bars with 2000 of devotees who were arrested for prayer protest. Ali Akbar added that the jail facility in Kerala will be insufficient to withhold all the devotees under custody. Is the Government challenging the vast majority in Kerala, Ali questioned.
The mass arrest of the devotees reminds of Tiananmen Square protests on 1989. The arrogance of the the Communist party had blinded the rulers, with the overconfidence that any protest can be suppressed. The CPM had clear role in conspiracy against the devotees is what the people should conclude.
