Thiruvananthapuram : Sabarimala concerns 3557 devotees arrested. The devotees had been arrested under 531 registered cases. 52 devotees were arrested last day.
Police had published a photo album of 210 devotees, earlier the police had shared photo album of 420 devotees. These photo albums are circulated among the district police authorities. the police says that 100 more devotees will be arrested soon. In the Sabarimala season all the arrested devotees will be under observation, the police authority said.
Peaceful prayer protest, blocking entry to Sabarimala for leftist activist women, non-believer women, restricting the police from doing their duty of helping the atheist to challenge the traditions and customs are the charges against the devotees. Police started arresting the devotees since 24th of this month.
