Thiruvananthapuram : A meeting was called by Kerala Government, to discuss women entry to Sabarimala. Devaswom ministers’ of the southern states were to attend the meeting, however none of them showed up. Only staff within the state came for the meeting. Chief Minister also said that he will not be attending to the meeting in the absence of the southern ministers.
The meeting was to discuss on the preparation of the Mandala Makara vilaku season. The Ministers of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry were to take part in the meeting, but the department secretaries came in line instead of the ministers.
Devaswom minister Kadakampalli Surendran gave an explanation that CM will not come up because of the sudden demands.
