Thiruvananthapuram : Bus fare hike by KSRTC on Nilakal Pampa route, Karnataka’s criticism was raised at the meeting convened by the Chief Minister to evaluate preparation for the Mandala-Makaravilakku Season.
Karnataka Principal Secretary, Gangaram Bodhreya, criticized the increase in the bus fare. Gangaram Bodereya told Janam TV ,that if Kerala Government had consulted with us, they could have avoided the increase in the bus charge by allowing subsidy.
The restaurants and the hotels in Sabarimala is charging too much from the devotees, accurate price tables must be introduced in all the establishments. Clean food and water should be ensured. Boards should be entrenched in all places in South Indian languages. Several states have been asked to open a unified toll free number and centralized control room exclusively for Sabarimala.
In the meeting with ten agendas, the State Government’s first and foremost concern was to get support from the south states on Sabarimala women entry, however in the absence of the ministres ,the subject not discussed. Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran demanded the cooperation of all states to go ahead with the admission of women issue.
