Thiruvananthapuram : The Weather Survey Center has announced the arrival of Northeast Monsoon in Kerala. Expecting heavy rain on 3rd and 4th of November, declaring Yellow-Alert to Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Malapuram and Wayanad districts.
The pouring cats and dogs predicted in the eastern region of Tamil Nadu, is expected to reach Kerala by the second week of November. The monsoon is delayed as wind pressure belt build up in the Bay of Bengal.
Northeast Monsoon will last from October to December. This time 480 milliliter of rain is predicted. The absence of rain clouds is further building heat in the state.
