Sabarimala : Sabarimala will be opened for a day, for Chithira Attathirunaal, tomorrow. The whole region is under high police security, more than thousands of policemen wrap Elavunkal to Sannidhanam.
The police had blocked media from entering Sabarimala at Elavunkal. As per the reports the media can enter till the base camp however the media was blocked 2km ahead of Elavunkal on the other day. Police barricade security is also availed at Sabarimala. All the vehicles are thoroughly checked. This is the first time that media faces a complete ban from Nilakkal to Sannidhanam.
The temple will be open by 5.00pm tomorrow till Tuesday night 10.00pm. Udayaasthamana Pooja, Padi Pooja, kalabhabhishekam and other special rituals will be performed.
