Thiruvananthapuram: The beverages outlets across Kerala will be shut today as a complete lockdown has been initiated in the entire country to curb the spread of coronavirus. The cabinet meeting on Wednesday will further decide on how long the outlets should remain closed.
Excise minister ordered Beverages Corporation MD Sprajan Kumar to close down all the outlets on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Association of Bar Owners approached the government seeking permission to sell liquor by the means of parcel. It is likely that government might favour this request.
