Kochi: A 65-year-old man, who was suspected to be infected with coronavirus and put under isolation in Kalamassery Medical College died on Monday night. He suffered a heart attack.
The deceased, Muralidharan, hailed from Thripunithura.
On the previous day, he was admitted to the medical college’s isolation ward after he showed some symptoms. The results of his samples are yet to come. Muralidharan started showing symptoms of coronavirus after a 28-day home quarantine.
Meanwhile, two others have been admitted to the Kalamassery Medical College Hospital with suspected cases of coronavirus.
With this, the total number of patients admitted in various hospitals in the district has reached 35.
