Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi today via video conferencing that the state has not reached a stable condition to completely withdraw lockdown.
The restrictions will be relaxed step by step in different regions. According to sources, he also informed PM Modi about the crisis of expatriates
Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh also called for the lockdown to be extended for at least two weeks.
“The decision to continue the lockdown should be taken on a national level,” Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said.
