Kasaragod: Police arrested two SDPI activists after a complaint from ASHA worker for threatening and obstructing from performing her official duties related to the health department. The incident happened in Mangaluru.
Strict legal action will be taken against them, police said.
Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry has directed states to take strict action against those who attack health workers. The Home Ministry has also directed police protection for doctors, nurses and other health workers.
