Deepavali is said to be the festival of lights. Diwali has many of the legends attributed to Lord Rama who came to Ayodhya and the assassination of Ravana and the other is Narakasura deceased by Lord Krishna.
Though the myths are many about Diwali, it always remains as the triumph of goodness over the demonic.
