Thiruvananthapuram: The NORKA (Non-Resident Keralites Affairs) has commenced the registration for expatriates who want to return to Kerala amid coronavirus outbreak.
People with ailments other than COVID-19, pregnant women, people with expired visas, people stuck after going on visiting visa are given major priorities.
There is no first come-first serve basis and therefore people need not hurry, said NORKA. The expats are required to register on www.norkaroots.org.
The expats who want to return should first register in the NORKA. Also they should produce the medical certificate that verifies negative result for coronavirus.
The expats will be brought back in chartered flights. They will be allowed to go home only after quarantine period.
