Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Secretary Tom Jose has said that all steps taken by the state with regard to coronavirus are in compliance with the directives from the Centre. The Chief Secretary said the portal would be implemented to avoid confusion.
He said that the information on lockdown relaxations will be published on the web site. The Keralites from other states have started to return from today. Thirty thousand are expected to return in the first four days, the chief secretary said.
Meanwhile, the first group of Malayalees arrived in Kerala from other states. They arrived at the Walayar check post and were allowed entry to those who had an entry pass received only through NORKA.
A total of 14 counters have been set up for vehicle inspection in Kerala. There are health workers, police and revenue officials deployed at the check post.
