Thiruvananthapuram: The state is observing a complete lockdown today as per government order. Only essential services will be functional today.
Milk distribution and collection, newspaper distribution, hospitals, labs, medical stores, other related centers and COVID prevention centers will be functional.
However, the lockdown regulation is not applicable for media, wedding and funeral ceremonies. Regulations will be applicable for religious institutions as usual.
Hotels can function for parcel service counters.
In case of emergencies, only one person will be allowed to travel with the passes obtained from police or district authorities.
Three roads each from Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode will be closed down from 5 am to 10 pm. Kozhikode beach road, Eranjipalam- Sarovaram park PHED road and Vellimadukunnu- Kovur road will be closed down.
