Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday addressed the press briefing and announced that there are 32 active cases of COVID-19 in Kerala.
He added that out of the 32 cases, 23 had contracted the disease from outside the state. Among them, 6 had returned from Chennai, 4 had returned from Maharashtra , 2 from Nizamuddin while 11 from abroad.
Meanwhile 5 new cases have been reported in the state. Three from Malappuram, and one each from Pathanamthitta and Kottayam.
Four had returned from abroad while one came from Chennai.
