Kochi: The BSNL has clarified in its dismissal order of Rahna Fathima that she had created nuisance deliberately. In the order Deputy General Manager stated that her actions were found intentional.
The compulsory retirement notice was handed over to Rahna from the BSNL office.
The order also points out that the criminal case and the arrest of the accused has damaged the reputation of BSNL. Rahna was dismissed after a long 18-month investigation by Vigilance Committee.
BSNL sacked activist Rahna Fatima for allegedly hurting religious sentiments in connection with the Sabarimala women entry. She had spent 18 days in jail for issues related to Sabarimala and was on suspension for 18 months.
