New Delhi: Union Minister V Muraleedharan has hit out at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday alleging that the latter is being misled by someone on the matter pertaining to flight services to Kerala.
“Things are not the way as Chief Minister said. In the letter sent by Centre, it clearly stated that 24 flights per day will arrive in Kerala. However, Kerala granted permission for only 12 international flights,” said Muraleedharan adding that Kerala should consider the situation in Gulf countries and should not impose any criteria on expats return.
360 flights were scheduled for Kerala in a month. But CM told that only 36 flights were charted and if more are charted, then permission would be granted for the same.
No such matter was mentioned in the Centre’s letter, the minister further said.
