Thiruvananthapuram: Padmaja Radhakrishnan, wife of the late music director MG Radhakrishnan, passed away on Monday. She was 68.
She suffered a cardiac arrest at SK Hospital at around 1 am.
Padmaja had penned songs for the Malayalam movie ‘Mr Bean’ which was released in 2013. Her song ‘Ninne njan Kanunnu’ written in the memory of her late husband had earned recognition.
Padmaja was a notable presence in the cultural and literary sphere in the capital.
Her last rites will be held after her son Rajakrishnan and daughter Karthika arrives from Chennai and Dubai respectively.
