Thiruvananthapuram: As unknown sources of coronavirus cases soars in Thiruvananthapuram, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has directed police officials to strictly enforce safety measure guidelines. He asked them to ensure that people in public places and markets maintain social distancing.
Over the past 10 days, there have been many cases in the capital where the source of coronavirus is unclear. It is in this backdrop that the government is planning to tighten regulations.
The coronavirus infected patients’ source is still unknown including that of clergy K.G.Varghese, KSRTC driver and Auto driver. This has caused serious concern to the health department and the district administration. Owing to this fear, three patrol vehicles have been deployed exclusively to ensure that people maintain social distance at bus stops and markets.
