Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala recorded 272 new cases of coronavirus today, informed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. At the same time 111 patients recovered.
Of these cases, 157 arrived from abroad, and 38 from other states.
68 infected through contact, the highest number so far recorded in the state.
Of the total cases, Malappuram recorded the highest with 63 followed by Thiruvananthapuram 54, Palakkad 29, Kottayam 3, Kollam 11, Ernakulam 21, Kannur 19, Kasaragod 13, Idukki 1, Pathanamthitta 12, Thrissur 10 Alappuzha 18, Wayanad 3, Kozhikode 15.
