Thiruvananthapuram: The state recorded highest-ever single day spike of 301 coronavirus cases. 90 of the cases have been reported through contact.
Of the total cases, Thiruvananthapuram recorded the highest with 64 cases followed by, Malappuram 46, Thrissur and Palakkad 25 each, Kannur 22, Idukki 20, Alappuzha 18, Kottayam 17, Ernakulam 16, Kozhikode 15, Wayanad 14, Kollam 8, Pathanamthitta 7, and Kasaragod 4.
The capital city has recorded 60 cases infected through contact. Of the confirmed cases, 99 people arrived from abroad, and 95 from other states.
