New Delhi: Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan on Wednesday lashed out against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan over gold smuggling case at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in the form of diplomatic baggage addressed to the UAE consulate, Swapna Suresh.
Muraleedharan said that there is ambiguity on the claims made by CM Vijayan and that who was working as his right hand is under suspicion.
The Union Minister said that thorough investigation will be carried out in the case. He said that Chief Minister is trying to get away with the investigation when Central agencies have already intervened in the case.
No matter how big the person is, he will be brought before the law, said V Muraleedharan.
