Thiruvananthapuram: Customs on Friday evening raided the flat of former principal secretary M Sivasankar.
The Customs raided the flat near the secretariat in connection with the gold smuggling case. The purpose of the investigation was to find out whether Swapna and Sarith had met in that flat. The Customs inspected that flat for an hour and a half.
According to preliminary report, the accused hatched the conspiracy to smuggle gold in the flat.
