Thiruvananthapuram : Maneuver to save DYSP, who pushed Sanal to the highway causing Sanal’s death, by counting the case as a mishap, said Sanal’s wife. Court has to supervise the investigation or the case must be handed over of CBI demands the deceased’s wife Viji. Viji will approach High Court with this.
Sanal’s sister is discontented with investigation of the case. Since the accused is a DYSP the investigation must be undertaken by someone above the rank. She plans to proceed with strong protest to serve justice to her brother’s death.
DYSP beat Sanal in the dispute over vehicle parking, following which DYSP pushed the young man to the highway. Sanal who was hit by a running car was not taken to hospital immediately. Sanal in his critical stage after the accident, the ambulance rushed to the police station and from there to Medical college hospital.
DYSP the murderer is not yet arrested. DYSP escaped the soon after the accident. As per the information DYSP has visited CPM district Secretary Anavoor Nagappa, the next day of Sanal’s death. Allegations on CPM leaders helping DYSP has not ruled out.
