Kochi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) ended up questioning former principal secretary to CM, M Sivasankar after 10 hours over the case pertaining to gold smuggling.
The second round of interrogation ended on Tuesday that started at 10 am and went on till 8.30 pm. The interrogation took place at the Kochi NIA office.
It was reported that Sivasankar did not give clear answers to questions on Monday. After comparing his statements with Swapna Suresh’s statements, the NIA questioned him for the second day.
According to reports, Sivasankar was questioned on his phone calls with the accused on Tuesday.
