Kannur : Police association programme was going on in a private resort. The roof of the resort collapsed and fifty policemen got injured, three among the injured are critical.
In the association program around 80 policemen were a part. Most of them got injured to their head with the downfall of the roof.
The roof breakdown was made of wood. Minister Kadannappalli was guest to the function. The mishap occurred in a short time after the minister left the resort.
The resort is not old enough to blame time on the debris. The rescue work still continues by the police force and the fire force. The injured policemen have been admitted to hospitals.
