Thiruvananthapuram: The DGP has ordered for an immediate probe into CPM’s cyber attack on journalists and submit a report on the issue. Thiruvananthapuram Range DIG Sanjay Kumar Gurud is in charge of the investigation. The investigation will be carried out with the help of Hi-tech Cell and Cyber Dome.
There was a massive cyber attack on pressmen for seeking answers from the Chief Minister on the questions raised by them.
The team has also been directed to monitor messages that tend to spread fear among the masses in the context of coronavirus.
The case was directed to be registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by the Kerala Journalists Union. CPM activists are also unleashing violence on social media.
