Palakkad: BJP state president today lashed out at the state government in connection with the gold smuggling case. He said that the involvement of the CM’s office in the gold smuggling case was becoming clearer day by day.
Surendran was speaking at BJP’s virtual rally in Palakkad.
The BJP state chief alleged that in the pretext of Qurans, it was gold bars that came to Minister K T Jaleel’s department and the Minister has been silent for the last ten days.
“The Chief Minister and other ministers cannot escape from gold smuggling case. The Chief Minister’s statement that he is not aware of anything will not work longer. It was not the Ramadan kit that came to Jaleel’s department, but the gold nuggets,” said K Surendran.
