Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that the Kerala police will not investigate the Bengaluru drug case. The government will not investigate the allegations against son of CPM state general Secretary, Bineesh Kodiyeri.
The CM also said that the state would look into the need for an inquiry if requested by the current investigating agency.
Meanwhile, Muslim Youth League leader PK Firoz demanded that the state government investigate the allegations against Bineesh. He alleged efforts are being made to prevent investigation agencies in Karnataka from coming to Kerala.
Firoz alleged that the activities of the money exchange company started by Bineesh Kodiyeri in Bangalore in 2015 are a mystery. He also said that the money for the drugs was being funded through the company.
