Thiruvananthapuram: Finance Minister Thomas Isaac tested positive for coronavirus after an antigen test was conducted on Sunday.
He has been admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital and his condition is stable. However, the source of his infection is unknown.
This is the first time a Minister in Kerala has been diagnosed with the disease.
Thomas Isaac developed symptoms of the disease followed by which he underwent the antigen test. All the personal staff of the Minister have been sent to quarantine.
