Kannur: A Madrassa teacher has been arrested for threatening children and stealing money and gold. Abdul Kareem (60) of Kannur’s Ulikkal Madrassa was arrested.
Police said that the accused has also used a child for unnatural offence, that is against the order of nature. The man threatened the children stating that if they want heaven, they should bring money and gold.
The incident came to light after five and a half sovereign gold from a house got stolen last week. Kareem who fled from the region was later apprehended by the police today morning.
