Kochi: Rehana Fathima, the activist who tried to violate the customs of Sabarimala, has been fired from her job in BSNL. She has come forward complaining that nobody is willing to provide a house for rent to her.
She said that the BSNL quarters where she had been living for the last 12 years has been asked to vacate. This week is the last time limit for vacating the quarters. However, when her name is mentioned, nobody is ready to rent a house, Rehana said in her Facebook post.
Rehana Fathima has given guarantee that the rent will be paid on time and the house will be clean and well-maintained. She said that she wants a house in Ernakulam and is willing to pay up to Rs 15,000.
The BSNL took action against her after she was booked under POCSO Act for a video that she released in June of her minor children painting on her semi-nude body. BSNL alleges that the police raid on the quarters as part of the case tarnished the image of the company.
