Kochi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) recorded the statements of Higher Education Minister K T Jaleel in two days in connection with the high-profile gold smuggling case.
According to reports, the Minister appeared before the ED office on Thursday at 7.30 pm that continued till 11 pm. Further on Friday he appeared at 10 am for interrogation.
As per sources, ED sought explanation on the parcels that came from UAE, for which Jaleel had responded through writing. Following this he was questioned on Friday.
