Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran has sharply criticized Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Surendran scoffed that Pinarayi Vijayan was being haunted by the ghost of Kim Jong Un. He also alleged that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was trying to suppress the opposition and cover-up the media and implement an undeclared state of emergency.
Surendran said that no matter how many cases the government files, the people will continue to protest strongly.
He also asked whether the corona protocol was followed during the mourning procession at Venjaramoodu, which was attended by 5,000 people, and at the wedding of the Chief Minister’s daughter.
The BJP state Chief said that the Pinarayi government is trying to conceal the rising public outcry against K T Jaleel in the pretext of violation of corona protocol. The CM needs to introspect himself.
Surendran also said that the CM should first file a case for violating the corona protocol during his daughter’s wedding and mourning procession at Venjaramoodu.
