Kochi: The Enforcement Directorate office has been closed after an official tested positive for coronavirus. This comes amid investigation into the high profile gold smuggling case.
An Assistant Enforcement Officer hailing from Telangana was diagnosed with the disease. Following this, the officials, drivers and security staff at the ED were quarantined.
However, the test results of the employees turned out to be negative yet it is not clear for how long the office will remain locked.
