Thiruvananthapuram: Benny Behanan resigned as UDF convener on Sunday and would soon submit his resignation. He made the announcement during a press conference.
Benny said that no one urged him to resign and that was his sole decision. He added that the media coverage of the convener’s position was hurtful.
M M Hassan is likely to be the new convenor and KPCC has also suggested his name for the office of convenor.
