Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday said that the government has taken steps to ensure people with no symptoms and mild symptoms be treated at their homes.
“Home treatment will be provided to asymptomatic patients, those with mild symptoms and patients discharged from hospitals after recovering from coronavirus. Guidelines regarding home treatment were prepared as per the criteria of WHO, ” CM Vijayan said.
Patients with severe symptoms, who are listed in B category, will be admitted in COVID secondary care centres.
If one person in a family tests positive for coronavirus, the other family members will be places under strict observation. People developing the symptoms will be taken for COVID-19 test.
Addressing a press meet, CM said that the government is making such an arrangement as the coronavirus situation is worsening day by day in the state.
