New Delhi : Bangladeshi writer and human rights activist, Taslima Nasrin wonders why female activists insist on visiting Sabarimala.

She could not understand why the so called activists want to trek Sabarimala. An Activist has to visit to the places where women are facing issues. Women of the lower class are in the wrath of domestic violence, sexual abuse, lack of equal wage as goes the list of concerns a female activist should seriously look into. Activists should work for such women’s empowerment Taslima tweets.

Taslima Nasrin decided to comment on the concern at Sabarimala on the grounds of Trupti Desai returning back home without visiting Sabarimala after she was stuck in airport for about 13 hours because of protest by the devotees.
