Malappuram: BJP national vice president AP Abdullakutty said that Minister K T Jaleel should be expelled both from the cabinet as well as Muslim community for his involvement in the gold smuggling case.
Abdullakutty was speaking at an inauguration of the protest march by district committee of BJP’s Minority Morcha to K T Jaleel’s residence demanding his resignation.
He said that Jaleel has used Quran as a cover to escape from the gold smuggling case.
AP Abdullakutty was appointed as national vice-president of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday and had said that it was a recognition for the minority community. He had also said that he feels proud to become a nationalistic Muslim.
