Thiruvananthapuram: Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram have been issued with prohibitory orders from tonight owing to rising cases of the coronavirus disease.
The district collectors have barred the assembly of more than five people in both the districts.
However, public transport and banks will continue to function normally.
No more than five people can assemble in a shop and other public places. Strict restrictions will be imposed on containment zones.
Only 20 people can visit places of worship at a time.
