Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala is taking steps to move against Unitac owner Santosh Eapen in iPhone controversy. He demands to withdraw the allegation that he was given an iPhone through Swapna Suresh, the main accused in the gold smuggling case.
Chennithala will be forwarding the legal notice tomorrow.
If the allegation is not withdrawn, a petition will be filed in the High Court or the CJM seeking an inquiry into the case.
Chennithala had lodged a complaint with the DGP on Saturday seeking to trace the mobile phone user, however the police did not take any action with regard to the complaint.
