Kochi: Actor Tovino Thomas got injured during the shooting of the film ‘Kala’ and has been hospitalised. He sustained injury while filming the action scenes of the movie two days ago at Piravom sets.
The actor was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi and following an internal bleeding Tovino was shifted to the ICU today.
For the last few days, Tovino Thomas had been shooting continuously stunt scenes for ‘Kala’ and it is believed that injury was caused due to kicking on the abdomen.
Meanwhile, the doctors said that the injury is not serious.
After Adventures of Omanakuttan and Iblis, Kala is the third film being directed by Rohit VS.
