Sabarimala : For the first time in the history of Sabarimala, police went on hunting down devotees, arrested them, physically harassed them. Devotees on the other hand stood still against the brutality of police, devotees did not back an inch.
Ayyappas were arrested for chanting Swami Saranam, pilgrims were trampled with the booted foots. Sabarimala pilgrim Manoj a native of Vandamed has been hospitalized of injuries. Police tends to treat the devotees more like terrorists.
Pilgrims protested in rage and they never stopped chanting ” Swami Saranam” the more police tried to suppress the devotees, the more the chanting gained strength. Believers hold on to their irumukikett with shouting ” Swami Saranam” even when they were dragged to the police van after the arrest.
