Thiruvananthapuram: Former principal secretary to Chief Minister M Sivasankar was hospitalised on Friday after he complained of uneasiness. He was admitted to a private hospital in Karamana and is in the cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
This comes after Customs officials questioned him in connection with the gold smuggling case. According to reports, he collapsed while travelling with Customs officials and was taken to hospital.
Meanwhile, Customs reportedly was moving to record his arrest in Thiruvananthapuram and take him to Kochi.
