Kozhikode : Perambra, under the leadership of CPM widespread incursion. Two houses were attacked last day, one at midnight and the other early morning this day. All the house hold items were destroyed.
Kozhikode, Kallod Kunnath Kuniyil Kunjiraman’s house was attacked by 9.00 pm. A group of 4 communist activists broke in to the house and Kunjiraman’s younger son was held at the edge of the knife, the family was threatened and the attackers saved themselves from any sort of defense. TV, refrigerator, table, chairs and other furniture were destroyed. Pranav and his mother Vijitha got injured severely. Police attended to the situation after the intruders left the family for fate and took the injured to Kutyadi Taluk hospital.
4:00 am this morning, Perambra Kallod Thacharath Kandithazham Keezhillath Prasoon’s house was attcked. A team of 10 CPM activists repeated the the same episode as back at Kunjiraman’s house, in addition, the cultivation of the family was damaged. Prasoon’s father Kunjiraman, mother Sreedevi, wife Resna were attacked by the CPM supporters with the weapons they carried. Members of the family hospitalized. The police suspects these attacks as the follow up of conflict that happened at Ambalakkulangara on the day of harthal.
