Tirur: Film director Ali Akbar has been selected for the 8th Saraswathi Award organised by Sanathana Dharma Vedi, Tirur in connection with the Thrikkandiyoor Navaratri festival.
Samoothiri Raja will give the award to Ali Akbar that includes a cash prize of Rs 10,001 on October 22.
