Kannur: A bomb was spotted on the roadside today at Kannur’s Payyanur. The bomb was found abandoned on the roadside near Payyanur’s Patoli temple.
Two days ago, a gun and ammunition were found in the similar manner at Payyanur’s Annur.
Earlier, a youth was injured when an explosive device exploded at Mattannur Naduvanad. He was a CPM member and an accused in several criminal cases.
There were allegations that some centers were deliberately planning to carry out attacks in Kannur.
